Manchester United reached the knockout phases by winning their group:

• 4-0 win vs Brighton
• 2-0 win vs Middlesbrough
• 6-0 win vs Birmingham City

Knockout rounds:

• 4-3 win vs West Bromwich Albion
• 3-1 win vs West Ham

United required extra-time to defeat West Ham in the semi-final, with Nathaniel Brown and Kai Rooney scoring the late goals to book a place in the Final.
