The senior team of Manchester United is slumping from one loss to another but the state of affairs for the youth team couldn’t be more different.
The Man Utd U18 side bounced back from some recent sloppy results with a 2-1 win at home against Wolves U18 to keep the pressure on their Manchester rivals in the league table.
Due to the senior team being short of numbers after freak injury blows, the upheaval has allows many new names to make their mark.
One such youngster took that opportunity with both hands, strengthening the assertion that United already had a Chido Obi of their own in the ranks before they signed the real one from Arsenal last summer.

Louie Bradbury’s Chido Obi comparison at Man Utd
Chido Obi was such a highly rated signing because of his freakish goalscoring record at youth level for Arsenal, something he’s continued at Old Trafford.
He was awarded his senior team debut against Spurs and looks like he could be a mainstay, at least for training with the first team.
That naturally allows promotion in the youth ranks since somebody will replace him in the U21s and that somebody will have to be replaced in the U18s.
Against Wolves, Louie Bradbury, the 16-year-old prolific striker made a strong case that the U18s will be in safe hands with him up top.
Starting alongside the likes of Gabriele Biancheri and Amir Ibragimov, both more experienced, he took to U18s football like duck to water despite it being his first start at this level.
After scoring a remarkable 40 goals for the U16s last season, he netted on his first appearance for the U18s as well, opening the scoring in the 2-1 win.
Bradbury sends message after maiden U18s strike
Beaming after continuing his scoring ways on stepping up to the U18s, Bradbury sent a message on Instagram, writing, “First 18s PL start, +1 [goal], +3 points”.
Biancheri responded with a clapping emoji and Shea Lacey responded with two of those as Tyler Fletcher wrote, “Loves the camera”.
Ethan Wheatley replied, “Go on the boy” as Amir Ibragimov responded with two fire emojis.
Expect Bradbury to become an increasingly regular fixture in the U18s ranks as Biancheri is promoted to the U21s and Chido Obi becomes a fixture for the senior side.
United could well have two Chido Obis in the next five years!
