One of Manchester United’s most promising midfield talents is back in the mix after more than a year on the sidelines.
Manchester United have welcomed Jack Moorhouse back into the fold after a long spell out with injury problems.
Moorhouse made his under-18s debut back in 2021 at just 15, playing in the same XI as Omari Forson.
He scored his first goal days later in a following match, showcasing his high potential days before his 16th birthday.
Moorhouse provided an assist in a late 2022 FA Youth Cup win over Crystal Palace, and despite hopes 2023 would be a big year, it turned out to be the opposite as injury problems surfaced.

Jack Moorhouse returns to action
Jack Moorhouse began 2023/24 with an assist in the under-18s season opener, and a goal in the next match. And those were the only games he played all season.
The central midfielder is now with Manchester United’s under-21 squad and made his return as a substitute against Norwich City in late September. He has made one other substitute appearance since.
In midweek, Jack Moorhouse made his first start since his injury, selected in Manchester United’s under-21 clash against PSV Eindhoven in the Premier League International Cup.
United drew the game 1-1 with an equalising penalty from in-form striker Gabriele Biancheri.
Moorhouse showed some dynamism from midfield, dribbling past players and creating chances, showing some of the traits which made him a standout player at under-18s level.
He is re-discovering his confidence along with his fitness, and this was a big step forward for the young midfielder.
He posted on Instagram, “431 days later,” a reference to the long wait between starts he had endured.
