Manchester United’s U19s are on fire in Croatia at the Mladen Ramljak Memorial Tournament, here’s how the team has fared so far.
Fresh off the back of a sixth-place finish at Super Cup NI, Manchester United now have a team of U19s over in Croatia competing in the Mladen Ramljak Memorial Tournament.
The United Academy side will play four games in four days and have been joined in Group B by Rapid Vienna, AS Trencin and Udinese.
Sunday will see the United – at the moment – playing in the final with a 10:30 am GMT kick-off.
So far, United are two games into the tournament and retain a 100% record. Here’s how United have done in each game.

Manchester United beat Udinese 5-0
The Red Devils kicked off their tournament with an emphatic 5-0 win against Italian side Udinese – a score which has placed the team well for the rest of the tournament.
In the game, 13-year-old Douka Nkoto continued his hot form from Northern Ireland with a goal here, which happened to be assisted by his twin brother Bassirou – it is absolutely insane that a pair of 13-year-olds are playing U19 football, a massive future could be ahead for both.
Bendito Mantato and Jim Thwaites also scored – after winning two goal of the year awards last season – both are now likely to be U18 regulars this coming season. Jayce Fitzgerald grabbed a goal and is back playing after a layoff through injury.
Gabriele Biancheri followed up his brace against Chester with a goal against Udinese – which rounds out the 5-0 thrashing, giving United all three points.
Louie Bradbury also made his debut for the U19s here, as he confirmed on his Instagram story. He is another expected to be a regular this season – following an apparent 40-goal season in 2023/24.
Followed by a 4-1 win against Trencin
Friday morning brought with it the second game of the tournament for the U19s and it was another one-sided affair, with a 4-1 win over Trencin keeping the perfect record.
Biancheri starred once again for United, grabbing a brace to make it five goals in his last three games.
Also scoring were Fitzgerald and Thwaites while Elyh Harrison conceded one goal much to his disappointment we imagine.
This win leaves United atop Group B with one group game left to play against Vienna, with high stakes.
Mladen Ramljak Memorial Tournament Group B
| # | Team | Played | GD | Points |
| 1 | Man United | 2 | +8 | 6 |
| 2 | Rapid Vienna | 2 | +3 | 4 |
| 3 | AS Trencin | 2 | -3 | 1 |
| 4 | Udinese | 2 | -8 | 0 |
Saturday’s game against Vienna therefore will decide the group winner and who will be competing for the win on Sunday, against what looks likely to be either Dinamo or Juventus.
United lost the 2023 final against Feyenoord and therefore will be desperate to make that right with a win here – possibly explaining the super-strong team.
