Manchester United have been able to finally announce the signing of exciting youngster Chido Obi-Martin.
Chido Obi-Martin clinched his move to Manchester United after the youth transfer was finally ratified by the Premier League.
There is a lot of attention on the exciting young striker, who scored 32 goals for Arsenal’s under-18s team last season.
United fans hope Chido Obi-Martin may crack the first team and solve the team’s goalscoring crisis. But he is unlikely to feature until 2025, as he will begin by playing academy football.

Chido Obi-Martin had Denmark opportunity
Chido Obi-Martin has been training alone in recent months, with his last club academy game coming at the end of last season.
Obi-Martin was called into the Denmark under-18s squad in the September international break, for the first time.
And of course he scored. Obi-Martin scored on his international under-18s debut, netting in a 5-3 win over Norway.
Another set of internationals could have provided Obi-Martin with another chance to play some games – however, Denmark have decided against it.
Denmark youth boss on Chido Obi-Martin
Denmark under-18s boss has decided not to select Chido Obi-Martin as he is wary over his lack of training and game time, and believes it is not in his best interests.
Speaking to Bold.dk, Morten Eskesen has explained: “When we selected the squad, we hoped that Chido would manage to get club training, but that has not been the case.
“Therefore, we have jointly assessed that it is best that Chido stays at home from this meeting, so that we do not risk an unnecessary injury.”
It is a sensible decision and Manchester United will appreciate the call. It’s unclear whether United pushed it from their end too.
Obi-Martin is now getting started at Manchester United and will be settling in at Carrington.
He will join the under-18s at first before progressing up when the time is right.
United need to get him back into the sharpness he showed at Arsenal at the end of last season, and early expectations will have to be measured.
