19-year-old winger, Omari Forson looked primed to play a role in the Manchester United first team this season. Erik ten Hag gave him an abundance of game-time through pre-season however he’s been nowhere to be seen since.
This reminiscent of Charlie Savage and Zidane Iqbal in Erik ten Hag’s first season. Forson didn’t set the world alight in his displays in America, however has been sending a message to Ten Hag with his UEFA Youth League performance against Galatasaray earlier today.
The message is one which Forson will be hoping, puts him back on the forefront of the Dutchman’s mind when considering which prospects to call up.

Against Galatasaray, Forson was the man of the match as he played the entire game, scoring twice and assisting once, he played a vital part in all three of United’s goals.
Via SofaScore, Forson had 56 touches with which he boasted a 97 per cent pass accuracy making two key passes in the process.
He also won eight duels and made three tackles in what was a really solid win for United’s under 19’s.
Does he deserve a call-up?
Despite this being a massive game for him, which was hugely impressive and shows he probably is above youth football, it is unlikely Ten Hag will call him up.
The situation Manchester United find themselves in doesn’t lend particularly well to integrating more youngsters than they already are doing.
Therefore a loan for Forson seems like his best shot at impressing at a senior level at the moment.
