Manchester United’s u18 side were back in action on Saturday, with 16-year-old Gabriele Biancheri stealing all the headlines.

Welsh superkid Gabriele Biancheri only joined Manchester United from Cardiff earlier this year.

He arrived to much expectation as he is considered among the best prospects in the country.

Biancheri scores three

Biancheri started on Saturday as United faced Reading, and he put in a man of the match performance.

Playing through the middle, Biancheri bagged a hat trick for the reds which ultimately won them the game all three points with a 4-1 win.

His triple here takes his tally for the season to four goals from three games, a brilliant start for such a young player still finding his feet at a new club.

Biancheri scored two true strikers goals followed by a mazey solo run which capped off a wonderful display.

Harry Amass makes debut

Another player who is worth making a note of was 16-year-old Harry Amass who made his debut.

Amass is one of England’s finest talents in his age bracket, with the left-back joining from Watford over the summer.

Amass has a contract running until 2027 as he will become a professional in May.

On his debut he put in a solid display which will be giving those at United hopes of a huge career ahead.
