Manchester United and Portugal attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named in WhoScored‘s World Cup quarter-final team of the round.

The 28-year-old was the Selecao’s standout performer in their shock last-eight defeat to Morocco.

Once again being deployed on the right-hand side by Fernando Santos, United’s Portuguese magnifico nearly found a way past Morocco’s inspired goalkeeper Bono, but his looping effort from wide right came back off the bar.
