Get used to seeing this. Antony has performed his trademark 360 spin skill in a Manchester United shirt for the first time.
United released a video of Antony spinning around at Carrington, giving United fans a glimpse of him in action.
Antony was frequently seen performing the skill in training sessions for Ajax, and even did it in matches too.
The Brazilian has the confidence to try these type of skills out in game situations, when other players wouldn’t even dream of it.
The flamboyant star insists his tricks and skills are not just for show. Speaking earlier this year to De Telegraaf, Antony explained: “There will always be people who think the tricks are really cool and people who disapprove of them
“I think my actions are functional, because I want to show the opponent that I’m the boss. And often it results in a goal or an assist.
“So I don’t really care what others think. Regardless of the praise or the criticism, I keep my focus.”
Antony told the club website he likes to entertain, “Dribbling – it’s the Brazilian way, isn’t it? Dribbling, speed, scoring goals and celebrating with the fans and everyone else.”
It’s only a matter of time before Antony is bamboozling opponents with his skills on the pitch, wearing a Manchester United shirt, and we can’t wait to see it.
