Manchester United remain interested in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot has been ostracised at PSG as a contract rebel, letting his deal run down.
He will become a free agent at the end of the season. However, he wouldn’t exactly be ‘free’.
The Sun report Rabiot is looking for wages of £200,000 per week plus a £10 million signing on fee.
The report claims United are ‘considering’ meeting Rabiot’s demands.
Rabiot would be a long term replacement for Nemanja Matic in midfield.
He would be a cheaper alternative to Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele, who Sky Sports report United are interested in.
His demands for a signing on fee are similar to Aaron Ramsey, who Talksport report will receive a £8 million bonus from Juventus – but will be on higher wages than Rabiot is demanding.
We wrote last month what a potentially shrewd acquisition Rabiot could be on a free transfer.
He reportedly went onto infuriate PSG fans and the club’s directors by being seen out partying after United’s Champions League win in Paris, ESPN reported.

United are also being connected once again with a move for Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld.
The Mirror report Tottenham are ‘resigned’ to losing Alderweireld this summer for £26 million per a release clause in his contract.
United are named as frontrunners in the race with Spurs powerless to prevent him joining a rival.
The same report claims Eric Bailly could be on his way out of Old Trafford, with United willing to consider a sale.
