Manchester United monitoring Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko
Manchester United are monitoring Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Sesko is one of a number of names United are ‘well informed’ on, although claims at this stage, no deal is imminent.

Sesko, 19, is a Slovenia international, with 13 senior caps to his name already.
At 6ft 4″ he is a physically imposing striker with a skilful touch, and has 12 first team goals for Salzburg to his name.
The Austrian side have a good track record unearthing strike talent in recent seasons, with Sesko following the footsteps of Erling Haaland and Patson Daka.
Basanovic said Sesko is “a very complete striker who can score with his head, with his right foot, with his left foot, from inside the area, from distance, after dribbling or completing a team move”.
He added: “He is very fast, in some games he reaches a speed of over 36km/h (22.3 mp/h) which makes him one of the fastest forwards in the world.”
Goal previously described Sesko as ‘mini-Haaland’, and United could get him at the right time in his development, before he kicks on and surges in price.
This is an interesting transfer link, with Sesko the type of profile of player United should be monitoring, a player who could provide an excellent alternative to Anthony Martial.
With Cristiano Ronaldo’s future unclear, United would be desperately short of options up front if Martial were to get injured.
Sesko has experience in the Europa League and won the title with RB Salzburg last season. While a move to United would be early in his development, learning under Erik ten Hag could be the best move he could possibly make.
