Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is wanted by a number of Premier League clubs including Leeds United.

90Min report that United’s bitter rivals are one of four teams exploring a January swoop for the out-of-favour Englishman.

They claim that his former club Crystal Palace are also keen, along with West Ham United, who could also offer a route back to London.

But the report claims that it is Wolves, under new manager Julen Lopetegui, who are currently leading the chase to sign Wan-Bissaka.

Speaking to Caught Offside, journalist Fabrizio Romano has also had his say on United’s right-back situation going into the January window.

He said: Manchester United’s position on right back situation is clear.

“The priority is to extend Diogo Dalot’s contract. It will be discussed soon.

“Then it will be time to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka, his agents are exploring Premier League destinations.

“Then to replace him with new right back, Denzel Dumfries as of today is too expensive; Jeremie Frimpong is just one of many options. It’s still early.”

Wan-Bissaka is yet to start a game under Erik ten Hag and it is no surprise that Premier League clubs are sniffing around, wanting a sale.

United actually face Wolves over Christmas and perhaps the subject of Wan-Bissaka’s future will come up after that game at Molineux.

The Englishman does need a fresh start at a club where there is not so much onus on him going forward and he can get his confidence back.

He was once talked about as a potential England player but he is nowhere near that level right now and it is best for all parties if he is sold in January.
