According to 90Min, Manchester United are interested in 22-year-old Isaiah Jones.
Here is a look at what we know about the potential Red Devils addition…

- Jones plays for Championship outfit Middlesbrough and played 118 minutes of their FA Cup fourth round tie at Old Trafford last month.
- He has been playing at right wing-back for Chris Wilder’s side but can also play further up as a winger, on both sides.
- This season, he has 31 appearances in all competitions for Boro, laying on nine assists as well as netting a goal himself.
- There is apparently plenty of interest in the speedster. Tottenham, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Brentford are all watching him domestically, with Atletico Madrid, Ajax and RB Leipzig also interested.
- He joined Middlesbrough in June 2019 from non-league Tooting and Mitcham, the same club Michail Antonio came through at.

What they say…
Chris Wilder is a huge fan of Jones, and said after he won Championship Player of the Month for December: “He is an exciting young player who has clearly caught the eye.
“It’s his first season at Championship level and he has been outstanding since we’ve come into the building.
“The message to him will be he has to keep his head down and keep his form and place in the team. We want competition and we’ll make sure he doesn’t get carried away. But it’s been a really good start to his professional career.”
Jones shone again versus Premier League opposition when Boro dumped Tottenham out of the FA Cup and BBC’s Guy Mowbray and Danny Murphy were impressed.
“Does he ever stop, Isaiah Jones?!” said Mowbray. “Brilliant, I love his work ethic, his desire to get back and track runners and do the job,” added Murphy.
United’s record goalscorer Wayne Rooney recently faced Jones as manager of Derby and said: “He’s a very good player.
“The lad has a bright future ahead of him and it was because of Jones that we felt we had to set up differently.
“We knew he’s very aggressive going forward and thought we could utilise the space behind but obviously that didn’t happen. It is a compliment to him that a good player like [Djed] Spence is out on loan.”
Would United make a move?
It is hard to assess who United would move for until the new manager is in place.
Boro are currently playing a 3-5-2, and United are not using wing-backs right now, but that situation could change in the summer.
At United, Jones would be either and orthodox right-back, or more likely, a right winger.
The likes of Facundo Pellistri and Amad are waiting for chances after they get back from loan and Jones may be a little raw right now.
There is no doubt that he is an outstanding talent and a hugely exciting player with a bright future in the game if he keeps going the way he is.
