Manchester United’s ambitions this summer include signing a left-winger, now Nordsjaelland’s Ghanaian talent, Prince Amoako Jnr, has emerged as a target.
The midfield is set to demand more than £150m of this summer’s transfer budget for Manchester United, but there will still be money left to strengthen the left wing.
While there have been links with Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig, that deal is likely more expensive than Ineos will be willing to do, considering the expected emergence of JJ Gabriel.
Mika Godts has been considered by United, while younger options like Said El Mala are also on the shortlist. Now, Prince Amoako Jnr can be added to the list.
Here is everything you need to know.

Manchester United linked with move to sign Prince Amoako Jnr
It is according to the Ghanaian website, MyJoy Online, that United and PSG have emerged as frontrunners in the race to sign the Nordsjaelland winger.
Both the Champions League sides have expressed a strong interest in Amoako, and he is expected to cost between £22-27m this summer.
The 19-year-old has risen rapidly in Denmark, with Brighton & Hove Albion, SC Freiburg, Feyenoord, AFC Bournemouth, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, and Borussia Dortmund also showing an interest.
This season in 33 games across Danish competition, Amoako has scored nine and assisted six.
While still young, Amoako would be an exciting addition, one for the future rather than to immediately make an impact.
Do you agree with Ineos’ recruitment model of signing wonderkids?
Who is Prince Amoako Jnr?
Amoako is a 19-year-old 2007-born left winger currently playing for Nordsjaelland in Denmark, a hotbed for young talent in the past few years.
Despite breaking through in Denmark, Amoako was born in Amasaman, Ghana. He moved from the Right to Dream academy in his home country to Nordsjaelland in February 2025 and hasn’t looked back since.
Interestingly, Amoako is represented by CAA Stellar, the same agency as Kobbie Mainoo. This means United wouldn’t be strangers to those they’d need to talk with.
What kind of a player is he?
Amoako is stylistically similar to Jeremy Doku in that he is a proper winger with lightning acceleration and creates a lot of chances with his ability to beat defenders.
His finishing is said to be impressive, although his goal record doesn’t quite showcase that.
Amoako might find a Premier League move too big of a jump immediately, but perhaps Ineos could sign him for Nice before doing a deal down the line if needed.
He’s a top talent, but not necessarily what United need right now with Noah Ajayi and Gabriel to come through.
