Manchester United are one of several clubs currently keeping tabs on the development of Santos talent Robinho Jr.
Over the past few years, Manchester United have shown a willingness to step into the South American transfer market with Diego Leon and Cristian Orozco.
However, signing Santos’ new crown jewel, Robinho Jr, would be an entirely different level of transfer.
United were initially linked with Robinho Jr in November this season, and the links have now developed, with an enormous asking price named.
So here is everything you need to know about the talented winger.

Robinho Jr will cost £87m as Manchester United is interested
One of Brazil’s finest young talents, Robinho Jr was always going to receive interest from Europe, especially considering his father Robinho was a Real Madrid star in the 2000s.

Now, according to GOAL, the 18-year-old is wanted by United, Chelsea, and Liverpool right now, as Santos has named their price.
Given his potential, the winger is now valued by the Brazilian side at £87m, which is partly due to his name but mainly to his talent with a football.
This is a fee no club will pay right now; however, it might simply be the starting point for Santos to negotiate with interested clubs. United are sure to be in the list considering the desire to strengthen at left wing.

What Neymar has said about Robinho Jr
Robinho Jr is currently playing for Santos and is rubbing shoulders with all-time great Neymar Jr there, which is sure to be beneficial for his development.
Speaking in 2025, Neymar told CNN Brazil that he sees Robinho Jr as a big talent.
“Juninho has a lot of potential. Similarity with his father is very great, regardless of what his father is going through.
“The boy has a very good head, very strong, it’s not easy to be in his place. It’s not easy to debut this way, with the pressure that takes his name.
“He’s there and I’m here to help, he’s a good-hearted boy. I root for him too much, I saw him tiny, today he plays on my side. Time is passing, and he has soccer.”
Who is Robinho Jr?
Robinho Jr is an 18-year-old forward currently playing for Santos.
He is known as Juninho and he began his footballing journey at Santos-based club Portuarios.
Here, his first coach, Robson Fernandes de Oliveira noticed his ability and talent as he told Placar in an interview.
“Juninho came to me when he was five or six years old, in 2012, and he was always completely different from the others. I encouraged him to keep the ball at his feet for as long as possible.
“The parents of the other boys would get angry with me, but I insisted because I saw something completely exceptional: a left-footed boy who had a more refined dribble than his father. He was unbelievably skillful and had incredible courage to try as many times as necessary.”
At 18, he is yet to nail down a spot in the Santos starting line-up but there is a feeling this current season will be his to earn that big move.
