Manchester United are turning their attention to signing World Cup winner, Benjamin Pavard according to German reports.
Pavard has been linked with a move away this summer with the defender reportedly in search of a new challenge.
This has alerted some of Europes elite clubs with a whole line waiting to secure the Frenchman’s signature.
Sport1 in Germany report that the Bayern Munich full-back has been targeted by Manchester United, Manchester City and also Serie A side Juventus.
Bayern are also reportedly happy to sell Pavard, if their valuation of €30million (£25.7m) is met.
However since being told he can leave nearly two months ago, there is yet to be any concrete interest or bids submitted.
However with United now reportedly targeting the defender this could be about to change.

Why United should sign Pavard
Three months ago, many would have turned their noses up at signing Pavard, however now that these other positions have been filled, Pavard should be a priority.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is United’s current starting right back, however now that we have a team who are mostly very comfortable on the ball, his deficiencies are evident.
This leaves Wan-Bissaka as arguably the sides weak-link and this was clear to see on Thursday morning against Real Madrid.
Often he would receive the ball and awkwardly but himself under pressure, and while he wasn’t bad, it is hard to imagine a side winning the big trophies with him as a starter.
His erratic style likely causes anxiety in his teammates as he never quite looks comfortable with what he is doing.
The point of signing Pavard wouldn’t be as a necessity, it would be a luxury, which is what we should be doing, after the arrival of a striker.
Pavard is also perfect for the role that Erik ten Hag wants Wan-Bissaka to do, inverting and getting on the ball a lot, there would be a huge improvement with this signing.
Need to sell to buy
With two current right-backs, a move for Pavard is unlikely, unless one of these two manages to get sold.
While Diogo Dalot is the better profile to be starting for Ten Hag currently, he has been underperforming for over six months now, which makes for a dilemma.
Therefore if either were to attract an offer, we think United would be smart to accept, in order to bring in someone who would fit the system perfectly.
While this remains fairly unlikely, we think it could be a brilliant move from United, one which could be the difference between 3rd and a title race, assuming that a forward is brought in soon.
