Two European giants sent scouts to watch Jadon Sancho and discussed making a move, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Manchester United winger has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer and it appears he has interest from a lot of potential suitors.

It was recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur were interested in the £73 million man, but were not willing to spend any more than £50m on the 23-year-old.

But Tottenham aren’t the only club interested, with word coming out two overseas clubs are keeping a close eye on the winger.

PSG and Napoli send scouts to watch Jadon Sancho

In the United Stand’s latest YouTube video, they got Ben Jacobs on to talk all things United. Amid other topics, the tricky case of Jadon Sancho came up. Jacob’s stated that if United were to sell, there would definitely be interest from clubs.

“The Tottenham interest is genuine, for sure,” Jacobs began. “I would also add a couple of European clubs to the list that looked at Sancho.

“One is Paris Saint Germain and the other is Napoli. So there are two clubs there who will both have Champions League football next season and have sent scouts to watch the player and discussed him internally.”

Two huge clubs, that both won league titles in their respective countries. Sancho is undeniably a talent, but it must be flattering to be wanted by these sides considering his performances over the last few years.

Despite the interest, Jacobs also touched on the fact that United aren’t too sure they want to sell anyway.

“Manchester United are not desperate to sell Sancho, unlike other players. So, we now have to wait and see if any of those other clubs move and whether the valuation of 50-60m from what I understand gives Manchester United a decision to make.

“Ten Hag likes Sancho. He sees him as having the right profile and the right age. He still feels like he has a role to play in the squad.”
