Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has expressed sadness that teammate Mason Mount is set to join Manchester United.
Last night The Telegraph reported Mason Mount has agreed personal terms over a move to Old Trafford.
It moves the midfielder a step closer to Manchester United and shows his intent, although a fee is yet to be agreed between clubs.
The reaction from Thiago Silva further legitimises the developments.

Mason Mount heading to Manchester United
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva showed his unhappiness with Mount’s imminent exit, reacting to an Instagram post.
The Brazilian posted two ‘crying emojis’ in response to a news report relaying the latest news.

MORE UNITED STORIES
Thiago Silva’s reaction shows how highly valued a teammate Mason Mount is in the Chelsea dressing room and the impact his departure will have.
Mount has only one year remaining on his contract at Chelsea, giving him a strong hand to negotiate his departure.
Chelsea needs to reduce the size of their squad, an issue raised by Silva earlier this year. He told Sky Sports: “Many players came in. We even had to extend the dressing room as it wasn’t big enough for all the players.”
Even so, it appears Mount is one of the players he would rather retain, which tells it’s own story on Mount’s quality.
