The agent of Rasmus Hojlund and Erik ten Hag has been a significant presence around Manchester United’s training ground of late.
Erik ten Hag brought in a number of players with Eredivisie influence this summer and it seems a Dutch agent has been playing a key role.
Look through United’s signings and you see a heavy influence from Dutch football.
Andre Onana played under Ten Hag at Ajax whilst the United boss also coached Sofyan Amrabat at Utrecht.
Even Mason Mount has Dutch ties having impressed Ten Hag during his time on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.
It now seems that agency SEG have been taking a big role; they represent Ten Hag and new striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The Telegraph report that SEG agent Kees Vos has been an ‘occasional visitor’ to Carrington and a ‘noticeable presence’ at training when he does turn up.
SEG celebrated Sofyan Amrabat to Manchester United transfer
Vos is close with Ten Hag and, whilst SEG don’t seem to officially represent Amrabat, they appear to have played a key role in his move to United.
SEG published a statement celebrating Amrabat’s move to Old Trafford, seemingly acting as intermediaries in the deal.

That statement even carried a quote from Vos in which he celebrates making Amrabat’s ‘dream come true’ with his deadline day loan move.
“After the successful World Cup Sofyan was up for a new challenge in his career. But he had to be patient and wait for the summer. The last weeks and days of August have been quite a rough ride, ending in a truly memorable transfer. I am delighted SEG was able to make Sofyan’s dream come true,” said Vos.

Who else does Kees Vos represent?
Amrabat doesn’t feature on the list of SEG clients over on Transfermarkt, but their top playing client is Liverpool star Cody Gakpo.
The Dutch international forward was heavily linked with United in 2022 but ended up signing for Liverpool instead.
SEG and Vos also represent another one of United’s rivals in Manchester City left back Sergio Gomez.
Girona’s Ukrainian winger Viktor Tsygankov is also on the books whilst Vos represents the likes of Brentford’s Mark Flekken, Atalanta’s Marten de Roon and Stoke City midfielder Wouter Burger.
We can’t really see any more SEG clients joining United any time soon, but they could get involved in future deals as with Amrabat.
