PSV Eindhoven, managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, want to sign Anthony Elanga on loan from Manchester United.
That is according to Dutch outlet ED, as PSV look to deal with the departure of Cody Gakpo to Liverpool at the start of the transfer window.
ESPN report that Erik ten Hag has now decided to let Elanga leave on loan to continue his development elsewhere between now and the end of the transfer window.
Elanga has dropped down the pecking order this season, and the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri now coming through.

PSV want Elanga on loan
Garnacho is the man who brings the freshness and energy to the United attack, often as a substitute and his career is going from strength to strength.
Elanga was that man last season but he was overplayed by Ralf Rangnick, and it seemed that sapped his confidence and belief.
He did get an assist against Nottingham Forest in midweek and does add to United’s attacking depth, but he is far from being a regular.
With Jadon Sancho hopefully soon to come back too, that will weaken Elanga’s hopes of gametime even more in the weeks ahead.
The ESPN report claims that Borussia Dortmund are keen on Elanga and at the moment, they are the likeliest loan destination.
The German outfit have a great reputation for developing young talent and that does seem the ideal place for him to go, if he would play regularly there.
But it would also be great to get the chance to learn under van Nistelrooy, who is one of the best finishers in United history.
It remains to be seen where Elanga ends up, and United could yet do some more loan business, with Ten Hag hinting in his pre-Reading press conference that Brandon Williams and Zidane Iqbal could make temporary exits before Tuesday’s deadline.
