Sir Jim Ratcliffe could take Roony Bardghji to Nice after his goal against Manchester United just days ago.

United’s Champions League hopes are in tatters after Wednesday’s remarkable 4-3 defeat away at Copenhagen.

The man who really sunk the dagger into Erik ten Hag’s heart was Roony Bardghji, as he fired past Andre Onana for a dramatic winger.

Bardghji looks like a huge talent, and he seems to have caught the attention of Sir Jim Ratcliffe in the process.

The Sun now report that Ratcliffe’s Nice are looking to sign Bardghji ahead of the January transfer window.

United are waiting for Ratcliffe to finalise his purchase of a 25% stake in United, with major footballing changes expected.

Ratcliffe already owns Nice though and the Ligue 1 side could make their move for Bardghji in 2024.

It’s stated that a number of Premier League clubs are already interested in the teenager.

Hearing that Ratcliffe is keen to sign Bardghji may leave United fans wondering… why not bring him to Old Trafford?

The Kuwait-born wide man has already hit seven goals in 14 league games this season, making a blistering start to the season.

This wouldn’t be a case of signing a player off the back of one impactful display against United.

Admittedly, that approach famously worked with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Sporting way back in 2003.

Bardghji is showing his potential in Denmark and could be another exciting, young wide man for the future at Old Trafford.

Right wing continues to be a concern for United and Bardghji may have the potential to become a United star.

Ratcliffe may even be able to engineer the best of both worlds here; a deal to bring Bardghji to United but loaning him straight on to Nice.

That is something we may see once Ratcliffe finalises his United deal and Bardghji should certainly be on the United radar.
