Manchester United are joining a number of Premier League rivals in the race to sign Gambian wonderkid Adama Bojang.

That is according to a report from The Guardian, who claim that United are interested in luring Bojang to Old Trafford.

The problem for United is that more and more Premier League clubs are showing an interest in signing Bojang.

Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all keen on Bojang.

We can only imagine that there are even more English clubs taking a look at the Gambian sensation.

Another issue for United to deal with is that Bojang appears to prefer a move to the Bundesliga over the Premier League.

Steve Biko FC – Bojang’s club in Gambia – are understood to have received an offer from a German club this week with RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt keen.

Striker Bojang seems to believe that Germany is the best move for his development right now but United may yet be able to change his mind.

Who is Manchester United target Adam Bojang?

Bojang has risen to prominence having stolen the show at the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 19-year-old hit four goals to help Gambia reach the final of the competition, losing out to winners Senegal.

Bojang also featured at the Under-20 World Cup earlier this year, scoring twice for Gambia as he again seized his opportunity to shine.

Nicknamed ‘The Gambian Hurricane’, Bojang is being backed for a huge future – and that’s why so many clubs want him.

Bojang is thought to be available for around £2.6million, which could be a bargain if he can live up to the huge billing.

United already have a number of talented young attackers on the books, including Facundo Pellistri, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo.

Bojang would be another signing for the future and United would love to win what looks to be a fierce race for his signature.
