Paul Scholes has named a Premier League star he thinks Manchester United should sign this summer.
It’s shaping up to be a big summer for Manchester United after suffering a turbulent season in the Premier League.
The Red Devils lost the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur before finishing 15th in the Premier League.
One of the biggest problems facing Ruben Amorim’s side is the lack of goals being scored, with Bruno Fernandes topping the goals scored charts from midfield.
United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves to help address that. They’re now targeting Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo while links to Viktor Gyokeres heat up.
Ineos will also have fallback options if those targets end up going elsewhere, especially since United run the risk of losing out on targets after failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Paul Scholes demands Man Utd to buy Eberechi Eze
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes believes his former side should sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
It will be a summer of change at Old Trafford, but United’s business will be heavily dependent on selling players.
Despite links to Mbeumo and Gyokeres, Scholes has other ideas for United.
The former player turned pundit gave some advice to United in an Instagram story post during England’s 3-1 loss to Senegal on Tuesday night.
Scholes shared a picture of Eze in an England shirt with the caption: “Just buy him.”
Eze was one of Palace’s star players last term, scoring 14 goals and registering 11 assists.
Although there have been a few strong links between United and Eze in recent months, it doesn’t appear as though the England international is a priority as of now.
That could change but there’s no denying that Scholes is a fan.
Eze stats vs Man Utd
From his time at Palace, Eze has an impressive record against United.
Eze has not scored or assisted a single goal against United in 11 appearances, but he was on the winning side five times.
That means Eze has won more matches against United than he has lost or drawn against the biggest club in the Premier League.
| Games | Wins | Draws | Losses | Goals | Assists |
| 11 | 5 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 |
Palace took four points from United last season, but the Red Devils need to be doing the double over the Eagles next term.
