The agent of Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko says the German side are not currently on course to renew his contract.
The Times claimed last week that Manchester United are among the clubs circling to sign the 18-year-old.
Moukoko is regarded as one of the most talented young strikers in the world and his contract is set to expire next summer.
His agent Patrick Williams has told Sky Germany that there is a big market for the player.

Extension with Dortmund ‘is not close’
Williams told Sky Germany: “I can confirm that we are not yet about to sign a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund.”
“A player like Youssoufa is interesting for all top clubs in the world. Especially when he’s free and has a future in the German national team.”
He added that The Times claim Moukoko is looking for £6 million per year in wages is not true. Sky Germany estimate the figure could be around half that.
Manchester United would do well to land the teenager, who Samuel Eto’o once tipped as the successor to Lionel Messi.
Moukoko is the youngest player to ever score 10 Bundesliga goals.
Dortmund are hoping Moukoko will want to play at a club where he is already comfortable, and sign a long-term extension.
But there is a real opening for Manchester United to make a push for his signature, especially when the club can offer a route to regular football in attack due to a current lack of striker options.
It’s unclear whether Moukoko’s agent is attempting to hurry Dortmund into an offer, or if he genuinely is prepared to make the jump to the Premier League already.
