Manchester United will send scouts to watch Gonçalo Inácio in action for Sporting Lisbon this weekend.
Erik ten Hag is keen on bringing a new defender next summer according to Fabrizio Romano, with Inacio emerging as one of the clear targets for Manchester United.
Sporting Lisbon wants €60 million (£52 million), which is his release clause, but are very open to a structured payment plan to activate this.
United must have some sort of interest at this price point, with a report stating they’re set to send scouts to watch the Portuguese centre-half in action on the weekend – but they won’t be without company.

Manchester United to send scouts to watch Inacio
According to a report from Portuguese media outlet CMJornal, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool will send emissaries to the derby to watch Gonçalo Inácio in action for Sporting.
It is also stated that the derby against Benfica is a game of ‘maximum pressure’, which is why the sides want to see him in this particular fixture.
Just like any major European talent, it’s no surprise Ten Hag has company with two of the world’s biggest clubs looking for his signature.
Inacio involved in top-of-the-table derby clash
Inacio and Sporting Lisbon are set for a huge clash this weekend, as they rake on derby rivals Benfica in a game of mammoth proportions.
Lisbon currently sit top spot with 28 points, with Benfica in a close second with 25. This means that the victor will likely go top of the league.
Inacio’s side are also looking to continue their unbeaten streak. They currently have nine wins and one draw in ten games but have yet to play their biggest fixture.
So that’s three of Europe’s biggest giants coming to watch you, whilst you have an undefeated record to withhold against your bitter rivals… no pressure at all for the 22-year-old!
