Manchester United scouts will be present at the World Cup with eyes on some elite talents who are putting their names up in the lights.
Ahead of the World Cup, Manchester United will have identified potential targets to keep tabs on over in North America.
To begin with, so far, United target Caleb Yirenkyi has impressed for Ghana with a brilliant performance crowned by a goal to claim all three points against Panama.
Additionally, Ayyoub Bouaddi caught the eye for Morocco, while there were countless others also worth keeping tabs on. But now it is a German who United are reportedly in with a good chance of signing.

Manchester United considered an option for Felix Nmecha
As Germany battered Curacao last weekend, midfielder Felix Nmecha was among the most impressive performers.
Nmecha scored and dominated in midfield, which allowed Germany to run to a 7-1 win.
Now, TeamTalk has claimed that Nmecha is on the move this summer, with United a potential destination.
The report says United have been given the green light to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder with a price tag of £50m set.
Liverpool are also in the hunt, but United are seen as a ‘very realistic’ destination for the German.
United were linked with Nmecha earlier this year at a point when the planned midfield revamp was a theory. Since then, Nmecha has been heavily suggested to sign a new deal at Dortmund, and is now locked down until 2030.
But if he can keep up the form he’s been showing this World Cup, Nmecha could play himself into the big move he’s been looking for.
Now the Ederson deal is agreed… WHO SHOULD BE MAN UTD’S NEXT TARGET?
Let us know who should be signing number two…
Nmecha would be a strong signing for United
Signing Nmecha might not be the household name in midfield that everyone expected, but it would be another signing that adds a lot of quality to United’s midfield.
Nmecha is coming into his prime, strong, tall, and one of the best on the ball in the Bundesliga.
He is a box-to-box midfielder who can take the ball and carry it through the pitch, raising the physical floor for United and also offering a threat in the final third.
Nmecha is wanted by Real Madrid, among others, along with United’s interest, so he would be a brilliant signing.
Ederson, Nmecha, and someone like Mateus Fernandes is a very solid midfield rebuild, maybe not elite right now, but a huge improvement and lots of potential.
