Nottingham Forest have reportedly made a loan offer to sign wantaway Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, but the offer from the East Midlands club is said to have been rejected by the Old Trafford club.
That’s according to the MEN, who claims that Forest made a loan offer with an obligation to buy the 26-year-old goalkeeper but United rejected it, with United believed to be after a permanent deal for the goalkeeper.
Luckhurst further claims that Forest’s owner Evangelos Marinakis informed Henderson of their desire to buy the Englishman for £30 million but their first offer has been rejected.

Henderson could yet travel to USA
Unless there is a breakthrough over the deal to take Henderson to the City Ground, then the Englishman will be expected to fly out on the club’s pre-season tour. With Andre Onana flying in for a medical today according to Matteo Moretto, so there is a high chance that Henderson will start in goal against French side Lyon tomorrow.
United are also not interested in sanctioning another loan move for the Englishman, who has previously been loaned out to Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United. It seems if Henderson is to leave Old Trafford then it will be on a permanent deal.

Elanga and Maguire enquiries received
According to the same report from Luckhurst, United have received an enquiry from Forest for winger Anthony Elanga. The Swedish youngster has been linked with Everton but a report yesterday from the Daily Mail claimed that he has chosen his next club but it is unlikely to be Everton.
United previously valued Elanga at £10 million but due to two clubs now battling over his signature, it seems that the valuation might be increasing.
