Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Paulo Dybala for a knock-down price due to a release clause in his contract.
According to a report from 90Min, Dybala’s representatives have reached out to inform Manchester United of his contract status.
Other Premier League clubs have also been notified. Dybala has a release clause in his contract of just £10 million for foreign clubs – while Serie A sides will have to pay almost double.
Argentina international Dybala has 23 goal contributions for Roma this season, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.

We have been here before with Paulo Dybala. 90Min‘s report says clubs are sceptical whether the forward actually wants to move to the Premier League. Manchester United will be chief among the doubters.
Dybala was prominently linked with a move to Manchester United in August 2019. He was linked by The Times as part of a potential swap move with Romelu Lukaku.
In the end the deal with Juventus fell through, with Dybala keen to stay put. He remained at the Turin club until last summer when he left as a free agent.
Calciomercato claimed last summer that United held talks over a possible move over Dybala – but he never really felt like a serious option.
The 29-year-old has been in good form. He is Roma’s top scorer ahead of Tammy Abraham, and it’s surprising he would want to leave Jose Mourinho’s side.
This is likely a case of his agents simply exploring their options, gauging interest. It would make sense if Dybala wanted to join Erik ten Hag’s side at last, now Manchester United look to be moving in the right direction.
Whether Ten Hag would actually want him, we doubt that, when United’s requirements are for more of a traditional number nine.
The price tag is tempting – but if there was a chance to bag Dybala on the cheap, it was last summer when he was a free agent.
