Manchester United are showing a real interest in signing Valencia wonderkid Javi Guerra as he continues to shine in La Liga.
We saw United bring in not one but two new midfielders during the summer transfer window.
Mason Mount arrived in a big-money move from Chelsea before Sofyan Amrabat joined on loan from Fiorentina.
United haven’t noticeably improved in midfield just yet but Erik ten Hag will be looking to see better over the course of the season.
Amrabat is only on loan though and with lingering question marks over the future of Scott McTominay, United may be eyeing up other midfield targets.
Manchester United keen on signing Javi Guerra
A new name in the mix is that of Javi Guerra, with United allegedly keen on signing the Valencia midfielder.
Marca report that United have joined Premier League rivals Newcastle United in monitoring Guerra very closely.
Guerra has been in sensational form this season, bagging three goals and one assist in just six La Liga outings.
The 20-year-old is being considered as a huge talent for the future with big European clubs already asking about signing him.
United appear to be in the mix with Guerra’s rise looking very similar to the hype surrounding Gabri Veiga this time last season.

Who is United target Guerra?
Guerra hails from Gilet in the Valencian Community, but actually started his career in the Villarreal youth ranks.
Guerra did end up joining Valencia though and made his La Liga debut back in April before emerging as a real star this season.
Primarily a holding midfielder who is now showing his abilities further forward, Guerra signed a new contract in May, committing his future to Valencia until 2027.
That deal included a huge €100million (£87million) release clause, a price which Valencia are unlikely to receive even with his progression.
Hailed as a ‘very complete’ midfielder in terms of his style of play, Guerra looks destined for a big future and United could line up him for a 2024 transfer.
