Manchester United are showing an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain talent Warren Zaire-Emery ahead of 2024.

United landed a couple of new midfielders over the summer as Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat arrived at Old Trafford.

We are yet to really see the best of them though and United’s midfield was completely overwhelmed against Manchester City on Sunday.

There could still be midfield changes going forward, with Amrabat only on loan.

Scott McTominay continues to be linked away, Casemiro has struggled this season and there are questions over Christian Eriksen’s mobility at the top level.

Manchester United keen on Warren Zaire-Emery

United will surely be keeping one eye on potential midfield additions for the future and one target has now emerged.

90Min now claim that United are showing an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Warren Zaire-Emery.

The 17-year-old is also wanted by Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund after showing huge potential with PSG.

Untied would seemingly like to bring the Frenchman to Old Trafford but prising him away from the Parc des Princes won’t be easy.

It’s stated that PSG are confident of securing a long-term agreement with Zaire-Emery, believing that he will commit his future to the club.

That makes any United move seem pretty unlikely but PSG will be looking to get a deal sorted before the January window opens.

Who is United target Zaire-Emery?

The teenager joined the PSG ranks at the age of just eight, and became the club’s youngest-ever first-team player in 2022.

Zaire-Emery is already the France Under-21 captain and is shining in the PSG first team with eight league starts to his name this season.

Zaire-Emery is also featuring in the Champions League and remarkably has three assists in three games this season.

Taking the Champions League by storm isn’t easy for a 17-year-old but that’s how Zaire-Emery is making it look right now.

France Under-21 boss Thierry Henry has hailed Zaire-Emery as ‘magnificent’ and believes that the ‘sky is the limit’ for him.

Henry praised Zaire-Emery’s maturity as a midfield player and seemingly believes that he can become a superstar – whether that’s with PSG or United.
