Manchester United have placed a keen focus on signing young players under Ineos and another prospect is on the radar.
It’s now more than a year since Ineos took charge at Manchester United and fans remain a little unconvinced.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and co have hardly given the image of progress at Old Trafford so far.
Sacking Erik ten Hag just months after backing him, the departure of Dan Ashworth having headhunted him, a number of cost-cutting measures… Ineos have made some missteps.
The Ineos project is a long-term one though and Ratcliffe will ultimately hope to see United take big steps forward on and off the pitch.

Manchester United eye Greek teenager
Ineos have shown their commitment to the future by signing number of top prospects.
Leny Yoro’s arrival from Lille showed that, but United have also added the likes of James Overy, Samuel Lusale and Chido Obi.
United want to add teenagers who can become stars down the line and another talent is wanted.
Tuttomercatoweb report that United have now asked for information over a deal to sign PAOK talent Stefanos Tzimas.
It’s claimed that United are rivalling Italian sides Juventus and Inter for Tzimas whilst Premier League interest mounts.
Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Fulham and Aston Villa are also thought to be keen on Tzimas.
Tzimas is currently on loan at second-tier German side FC Nurnberg and the attacker has been in great form.
The 19-year-old has bagged eight goals in 14 2. Bundesliga games this season whilst adding two assists.
United want fellow Greek wonderkid Charalampos Kostoulas and could move for both players in 2025.

Who is United target Stefanos Tzimas?
Tzimas came up in the PAOK ranks and bagged five goals in 30 games for them at first-team level.
Nurnberg truck a deal to sign Tzimas on loan over the summer and that has proven to be an absolute masterstroke.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg recently noted that Nurnberg are planning to sign Tzimas permanently for around €18million (£15million) and then quickly sell him on for profit.
Former Bayern ace Jurgen Kohler has urged the club to sign Tzimas as competition for Harry Kane, believing him to be a ‘super striker’.
“Stefanos Tzimas is a super striker with good moves, seven goals in eleven games is a strong rate for an 18-year-old – even if only in the second division. Behind Kane, you can’t get a second top striker for 50 million euros, so it would be wise to sign a talent,” Kohler told Kicker.
Tzimas has told In Sports in Greece that the Premier League is his ‘dream move’ though and United may well hand him that opportunity if Tzimas continues to score.
