Manchester United are showing an interest in New York Red Bulls teenager Julian Hall but face a battle with Manchester City.
United are always in the market for top young players in the hope of landing a future star.
For instance, NK Kustosija Zagreb talent Dino Klapija is a key target with Fabrizio Romano reporting strong United interest in August.
Antwerp wonderkid Arthur Vermeeren is another United target whilst Blackburn Rovers teenager Adam Wharton is on the radar too.
United fans would no doubt love to see some top talents arrive at Old Trafford – and another youngster is now on the United wish list.
Manchester United keen on Julian Hall
The London Evening Standard now report that Manchester United are in the race to sign New York Red Bulls talent Julian Hall.
It’s stated that Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and local neighbours Manchester City are also interested in Hall.
Chelsea appear to be showing the strongest interest having had Hall on their radar for a long time.
The report notes that Hall featured against Chelsea in an Under-15 match back in April.
Chelsea want to take Hall on trial but now face a battle with United one of the clubs joining the race.

Who is United target Hall?
Hall is predominantly an attacking player and has featured on both the right and left flank.
The 15-year-old qualities to play for Poland alongside the United States and has already hit four goals in nine caps for the US Under-15’s.
Hall had been featuring in the MLS Next system before signing with the Red Bulls, where he has already made a first-team appearances.
Red Bulls boss Troy Lesesne has told MLS Soccer that he thinks Hall is a ‘very promising’ player with ‘a lot of potential’.
There are high hopes for Hall and United may now look to swoop in and try to beat Chelsea to his signature.
