Manchester United are interested in signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to the Evening Standard.
With the Red Devils reportedly lining up a season-long loan move for USMNT captain Christian Pulisic from the Blues, Erik ten Hag’s side are also interested in bringing Hudson-Odoi to Old Trafford from Stamford Bridge.

Hakim Ziyech is another Chelsea player who has been linked with a move up north this summer. The Moroccan became one of the most sought after playmakers on the continent following his electric form under Ten Hag at Ajax.
While Ziyech’s links with a reunion with Ten Hag are understandable given our transfer business this summer, interest in Hudson-Odoi has come out of nowhere.
But with 15 days of the transfer window remaining and the number of players we have been linked with today alone, it isn’t really that much of a surprise given our seemingly scattergun recruitment model.
Manchester United interested in Callum Hudson-Odoi

Like Ziyech and Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi isn’t considered a regular in west London under Thomas Tuchel.
The three-time England international didn’t feature in either of Blues’ two Premier League games of the season so far.
Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling look to be Tuchel’s first-choice attacking trio and that’s before further signings are made by Todd Boehly.
Having missed a chunk of last season with an Achilles tendon injury, the Chelsea academy graduate only started 11 Premier League games under the former Paris Saint Germain manager.
From 126 games for Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi has scored 16 goals and provided 22 assists. Out of those 126 appearances, 66 have been starts.
With two years left to run on his Chelsea contract, the speedy and tricky £120,000-a-week winger looks set on securing first team football, but a move to Old Trafford wouldn’t guarantee that.
In fact, Hudson-Odoi would probably start less games for the Red Devils then he has at Chelsea with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial and Anthony Elanga capable of occupying the wide roles.
Hudson-Odoi is more than capable of being a matchwinner on his day, but he needs to join a club where he can start week in, week out and be given the time to flourish – he wouldn’t have that luxury at Manchester United.
