Manchester United have ‘held talks’ with Felix Nmecha, who knows Manchester very well after his time at Manchester City.
The 22-year-old has had a fantastic season in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg. He’s featured heavily for them and has been a vital player, which has meant that he’s even been given the honour of a call-up to his national side.
Thanks to this, he’s also caught the attention of clubs across Europe – with Erik ten Hag‘s side being one of them.
Nmecha would be a surprisingly cheap option, at just £12.9m (€15m) he could certainly be added in amid some other big signings.

Man Utd ‘held talks’ with Felix Nmecha
According to Sport1 chief reporter Patrick Berger, Manchester United are currently monitoring Felix Nmecha from Wolfsburg.
It is believed that the player would like to leave Wolfsburg early this summer. United have already held talks with the player’s father who’s working as his consultant and the alleged fee will be around £12.9m (€15m).
It’s no dispute that United are in for a midfielder this window and with the budget looking reasonably tight, a cheap option like Nmecha could be a viable option.
His move to Manchester wouldn’t be a daunting one for the German. Providing he was raised here when he and his brother Lukas, who also plays for Wolfsburg, played their stuff at Manchester City’s academy.
He even made a couple of first-team appearances. He made his debut as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 EFL Cup semi-final against Burton Albion.
Nmecha would make just three appearances for the Cityzens. After his contract with the club expired in June 2021, Nmech joined his older brother at Wolfsburg.
Now after an impressive campaign, could he be coming back? But this time to the red side of the city.
