Manchester United’s busy day continues, with reports suggesting Donny van de Beek could be in line for a move.

The midfield situation at Old Trafford is up in the air right now as to how it will look at 11pm tonight.

Sofyan Amrabat is believed to be nearing a deal to join the club which will come as a huge relief for Erik ten Hag.

Meanwhile Scott McTominay is receiving interest from Fulham which could see him depart the club too late for the funds to be put to good use.

Lastly, Donny van de Beek, who’s departure has been bubbling all summer but has began to boil over the last few days.

Multiple clubs are said to hold an interest in the Dutchman, which should see him depart.

Van de Beek offered to Inter Milan

According to Di Marzio, Donny could be offered to Italian giants Inter Milan as they are keen on improving their midfield options.

The £35million midfielder is said to have been ‘proposed’ to last seasons Champions League finalists.

He adds however that right now, Donny is just an option for the Nerazzurri who also have their eyes on Davy Klaassen of Ajax and Tanguy Ndombele from Spurs.

Donny will be delighted should he get the move as he really needs a clean break from United as it just hasn’t worked out.

Can United afford to lose Donny?

Given the fact injuries are stacking up for United left-right and centre, it could be the best opportunity to play for Donny.

However despite both Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount being injured, Donny hasn’t got a look in.

Hannibal Mejbri seems to be ahead of him in the pecking order along with fellow outcast McTominay.

With the arrival of Amrabat, his squad position would only deteriorate further making a move the best option for all parties.
