Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount ahead of a summer transfer move.
According to The Telegraph, Manchester United have agreed terms with Mason Mount and he is on course to become the club’s first summer signing.
No fee has yet been agreed with Chelsea. However, the Blues are intent on a clearout, to trim their bloated squad and recoup transfer funds.
A report in The Athletic last week had claimed Manchester United were Mason Mount’s first choice.

Mason Mount to Manchester United
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has had his eye on Mason Mount for years, with Mount impressing him while on loan in the Eredivisie early in his career.
A move for Mount is expected to cost above £50 million, even though the 23-year-old has one year left on his contract.
Mount is a regular at international level for England and has won the Champions League for Chelsea.
He has had a disappointing season, along with the whole Chelsea squad. The previous season he hit double figures for both goals and assists.
United have a need to strengthen in midfield, with exits expected. The likes of Fred and Scott McTominay could be moved on, while Erik ten Hag will want younger legs around Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes.
The Times reported Manchester United are expected to make an offer for Mount after the FA Cup final.
If Mount is United’s first deal of the summer, a move for a striker is expected to follow.
