What is Manchester United’s budget for a striker in the summer 2023 transfer window?

According to the Manchester Evening News, United have £65 million to spend on a striker. This, realistically, is nowhere near enough.

The article went on to further state that this is a prefixed amount and would obviously differ if United were to sell some players in the coming weeks.

However – a goalkeeper is also a priority, with United seriously ramping up their interest in Andre Onana over the past few days. This begs the question… will United even have £65 million?

If they don’t, they’re in serious trouble. A striker is a necessity and their desired targets certainly cost a pretty penny.

Manchester United Striker Target Prices

Here are the speculated prices that each of United’s main striker targets looks like they’re going to cost.

This remarkably means that only Rasmus Hojlund will be attainable for the Red Devils and this may not even be the case.

Hojlund is also still so young and unproven and it’s a mega risk compared to say Kane or Osimhen. United will end up with a striker at the end of the window. How much do they spend? Well – that’s anyone’s guess.
