Manchester United have been told the price they will need to pay to be able to sign Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey.
Erik ten Hag’s side have previously been linked with Sacha Boey with the French defender’s contract talks reportedly on hold as a result according to Fotospor.
Well, a new report has emerged today from French outlet RMC Sport and Turkish outlet Fotomac who both cover Manchester United’s interest in the defender.
The 23-year-old looked assured against Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford and that has alerted Ten Hag to the defender and the price has been named for the Frenchman.

Boey price named
According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Galatasaray would demand €25 million for the Frenchman which is around £20 million, which has been described as ‘astronomical’ by the Turkish outlet.
Ten Hag has ‘stepped in’ to get the deal over the line and are prepared to knock on the Turkish side’s door to sign the young and exciting right-back.
Along with United, Arsenal, AC Milan and Marseille are all in the mix for Boey. He’s managed a goal from 20 appearances this season.
RMC Sport goes on to say that the Red Devils have made an enquiry over the defender’s availability.
Manchester United right-back status
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is reportedly in talks over signing a new contract, The Mail report, but no agreement has yet been reached.
The signing of Boey would certainly be an exciting one but whether United actually push for the Frenchman remains to be seen.
Your view on whether United need a new right-back will depend on your opinion of Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot‘s ability and potential to improve in this position.
The club may well be better served saving the money they would spend on a right-back and investing it into a different area of the pitch, one that is a more pressing need.
