Juventus told they already have better player than Man Utd exile Jadon Sancho, ‘I wouldn’t trade him…’

Jadon Sancho is one of the five Manchester United players sent into exile this summer.

Despite not featuring in a single training session under Ruben Amorim, it would appear that the £72m signing’s reputation precedes him.

Jadon Sancho was hoping to make his Chelsea move permanent. But when personal terms fell through, Chelsea paid £5m to avoid signing Sancho permanently for the agreed £25m.

This is despite the winger scoring in the Conference League final against Real Betis, and it has left Manchester United stuck with the winger for now.

However, luckily for Ineos, there has been plenty of interest in Sancho. However, the Englishman is yet to find a new club. This is largely due to Sancho’s massive wage demands, which have turned off multiple suitors already.

Juventus, however, have not been put off and have been in talks over the past month to sign Sancho.

Davide Lanzafame urges Juventus to avoid Jadon Sancho

Sancho to Juventus is thought to be nearing completion, with the Italian side willing to pay the asking price, and Sancho thought to be willing to take a pay cut.

However, whether a move is close or not, Juventus have been advised against making the signing.

Speaking with Tutto Mercato Web, former Juventus player Davide Lanzafame has spoken about the prospect of signing Sancho, and he’s not impressed.

“I really like him. He’s one of the few players in Italy, along with Zaccagni and Orsolini, who consistently takes on his man to often create numerical superiority. I honestly wouldn’t trade him for Sancho.”

He is also not alone in this verdict.

Italian journalist Marcello Chirico has agreed with this, telling Tutto Mercato Web his verdict on the move.

“Between Conceicao and Sancho, I prefer the Portuguese, who is two years younger and has more potential than Sancho, who we saw only a few years ago at a great level.”

Sancho is unanimously one of the worst signings United have made.

Lanzafame also tells Juventus not to sell Manchester United target

Continuing in the same interview, Lanzafame went on to discuss Manchester United-linked Douglas Luiz, who he has argued should absolutely not be sold this summer.

“If I had to name a player I’d keep, I’d definitely choose Douglas Luiz. It’s not the first time a first-year player has struggled to adapt to a new game and a different country.

“Lobotka at Napoli is a prime example; he struggled in his first year and is now the best playmaker we have in Italy.”

Luiz didn’t have a good first season at Juventus, which explains all the noise around a swap deal with Sancho; however, Amorim won’t lose sleep over missing out on the Brazilian.
