Joshua Zirkzee hasn’t been a successful signing for Manchester United, with his time at the club potentially drawing to a close this summer.
After 70 games for Manchester United, Joshua Zirkzee has scored just nine goals, and now this summer could see Ineos cut losses on the big Dutchman.
Zirkzee is hailed as a high performer in training, yet this hasn’t yet correlated with performances on the pitch.
Michael Carrick has used Zirkzee sparingly, giving him just 31 minutes in total off the bench since January. All of these point toward his departure this summer.

Should Manchester United KEEP or SELL Joshua Zirkzee in summer 2026?
Juventus preparing another swoop to sign Joshua Zirkzee this summer
While not taking to Premier League football well, Zirkzee is still highly regarded in Italy, with his qualities much better suited to Serie A football, making this his likely destination in the summer transfer window.
Napoli have been linked with Zirkzee, but now it looks like Juventus are considering making a move.
According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus are returning for Zirkzee this summer.
After two tough years for United, the report claims that Zirkzee is now open to a change of scenery next season, as Ineos are willing to listen to offers.
Juventus are considering making a bid, restoring interest from last summer, with Luciano Spalletti giving the green light to the move ahead of an attacking reshuffle for the Turin side.
United are looking to recoup £26m for Zirkzee, which would be a success considering he cost £36m two years ago.

Selling Zirkzee should open up Manchester United to Eli Kroupi Junior move
While it isn’t the most important position to strengthen, United need to bolster the forward ranks to compete on more than just one front next season.
This has seen United linked with a move for Eli Kroupi Junior, as the 19-year-old French forward has established himself as the Premier League’s most exciting young striker.
Tyler Adams has tipped Kroupi for the big time, which is obvious given how easily he has taken to Premier League football.
Additionally, Sky Sports’ presenter Joe Thomlinson has declared on his YouTube channel that Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has tipped Kroupi to win the Ballon d’Or during his career, while he was with the United target earlier this season.
This is a lofty billing, but there is no reason to doubt this if he can step up to playing for United as easily as he did at Bournemouth.
It would be a huge upgrade on Zirkzee in terms of pure strikers.
£26m for Zirkzee is a healthy chunk, which could be put towards Kroupi, who might cost between £50m and £60m.
