Jadon Sancho is on the verge of leaving Manchester United on deadline day.
Manchester United have spent the summer trying to offload unwanted players, but a few outcasts remain at the club with just hours left until the transfer window shuts.
Ruben Amorim made his feelings clear at the beginning of the summer when he told five United players to train away from the first team. This led to Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford securing moves away from Old Trafford, although the latter left for Barcelona on loan.
This means Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia are waiting on a new solution, with time running out.
Meanwhile, United have added four new players to Amorim’s squad. Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Diego Leon and Benjamin Sesko all joined the club earlier this summer.
United fans are expecting more movement from the club in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa always appealed to Jadon Sancho
News emerged this morning that Aston Villa held talks with United over Sancho on Sunday.
Those talks progressed quickly as Fabrizio Romano revealed that Sancho will join Villa on an initial loan deal from United.
The Red Devils have given the green light, and now formalities are expected to follow.
However, United In Focus reported in June that Sancho was open to a move to Villa Park.
Sancho is aware of the success Villa had with loans last season, following temporary deals for Rashford and Marco Asensio.
Furthermore, UIF noted at the time that Unai Emery is an admirer of Sancho.
Sancho missed pre-season preparations at United and may need to wait before he is given his Villa debut.
Sancho record vs Aston Villa
It’s only a matter of time before the Villa fans greet their latest loan signing.
Sancho has played against Villa four times in his career.
He took on Villa twice as a United player – winning one, drawing another – while he was the receiving end of a defeat against the Villans during his stint at Chelsea last term.
| Games | Wins | Draws | Losses | Goals | Assists |
| 4 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
Sancho failed to make a goal contribution during his games against Villa, but Emery can see potential in the winger.
