Manchester United will be looking to add to their striker department in 2025.

It remains to be seen if Manchester United will make any signings in January, although most transfers are likely to take place in the summer, as we’ve seen in recent years.

In the past week, United have been linked with a move for Esposito, who has scored nine goals in Serie B for Spezia this season.

There has been a further update with the Inter Milan loanee tipped with ‘serious’ interest from United.

According to FCInterNews08, Milan will not consider selling Esposito in January, so any interested clubs will be made to wait until the summer.

Esposito has yet to prove himself in the Serie A, so it might be a bit soon for the youngster to stake a claim in United’s first-team.

With nine goals in Serie B this season, Inter Milan have a hot prospect on their hands.

The Italian giants may decide to keep the young homegrown star to maximise him value over the next year or two.

However, United are in the market for a goalscorer, despite signing young forwards in recent years. Now there is a need for a readymade scorer.
