Hannibal Mejbri is a man in demand this summer, with multiple clubs looking to land the Tunisian’s signature on loan.
Hannibal featured heavily for United in pre-season and impressed amid a sea of other youngsters. His fine performances have cemented the fact that he definitely won’t be sold.
However, it appears with the number of midfielders United still possess and the fact that Kobbie Mainoo shone brightest in pre-season – it now appears that the best option for the 20-year-old will be another loan move away from Old Trafford.
He spent last season in the Championship with Birmingham City. But this time round it looks like he’s going to achieve even bigger heights – with a Premier League club very close to his signature.

Luton Town ‘one step away’ from Hannibal Mejbri
Tunisian outlet Noussour TN claimed not long ago that Luton Town and newly-relegated side Leicester City were both looking at the midfielder.
But now Africa Foot journalist and Tunisian football expert Mahmoud Missaoui claims that Luton Town are ‘one step away’ from securing his signature.
This would be a great move for Hannibal and would be ideal for Manchester United. It means that he gets Premier League football, with a side that he’s likely to feature for.
MORE UNITED STORIES
It also means United can keep a close eye on him with his destination being close. It’s a win-win.
Hannibal had interest from other European clubs…
Mahmoud Missaoui also claimed that three major European clubs also were interested in the Tunisian midfielder.
It was reported that Monaco had ‘inquired’ about him, but Manchester United’s management did not follow up. The other two sides that appeared to be interested were Rennes and Feyenoord. They were also in contact with the player’s entourage.
These would all be fabulous opportunities for the young lad. However, the prospect of Premier League football is probably the most enticing for club and player alike.
