Bayern Munich are pushing to try and seal a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

It has been a hectic day concerning the future of England international striker Harry Kane, who has a huge decision to make.

BBC Sport reported Tottenham accepted a fee from Bayern Munich for the forward, and this was expected to lead to him wrapping up a move.

But the transfer has reportedly hit a hitch, with Kane stalling, yet to make up his mind. Sky Sports reports he could even stay.

Harry Kane could have other offers

Harry Kane’s uncertainty has sent the German press into a tailspin, attempting to work out what has happened.

BILD reporter Christian Falk claims another club may have entered the race, with a view to a deal in 2024 – and suggests it may be Manchester United.

Falk reports: “According to our information, there are rumors that a club made Harry Kane a significantly better offer for a free transfer in 2024.

“Paris is looking for a replacement for Mbappé. Chelsea and Manchester United cannot be ruled out either.”

Bayern continue to push

Falk goes on to add that Bayern Munich are continuing to push to try and seal the deal and win Kane over.

He adds: “New negotations ongoing for the Transfer of Harry Kane! According to our information, there is still a financial problem to be clarified.

“It should also go to agents fees. Kane is managed by his brother Charlie and father Pat. Bayern are optimistic for the transfer.”

It does seem like a real long shot to consider United will enter the race, but it would be superb timing if the Red Devils now decided to get involved.

If Kane does go to Bayern, it will mean he won’t be part of the Tottenham side who host Manchester United on the second week of the season.
