Red Devils legend Gary Neville has talked up Croatia right-back Josip Juranovic, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
The 27-year-old, who plays his club football for Scottish Premiership giants Celtic, has been one of the standout performers of the World Cup in Qatar.
The 27-time Croatia international leaves the Middle East with his reputation enhanced and he’s been on the receiving end of some high praise from former Reds and England right-back Neville.
Gary Neville talks up Croatia defender and Manchester United-linked Josip Juranovic

Speaking prior to Croatia’s 3-0 defeat to Argentina in the World Cup semi-finals, Neville said on ITV that Juranovic “epitomises the modern day full-back” with him bombing up and down all game.
Neville said: “Absolutely brilliant. Juranovic is fantastic going forward, epitomises the modern day full-back – he’s bright, he’s lively, he’s not just serving the attack – he’s contributing to it.
“He’s been a real presence in this tournament on the right-hand side for Croatia.”
When Erik ten Hag was actively trying to sign a right-back during the summer transfer window to provide cover and competition to Diogo Dalot, Juranovic was linked with a move to Old Trafford by 90min.
While fellow talented right-backs Denzel Dumfries, Jeremie Frimpong and Malo Gusto have all also been linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams, Juranovic could be a cheaper and more attainable option than the aforementioned trio.
With Aaron Wan-Bissaka deemed surplus to requirements under Ten Hag, the former Ajax manager is going to want to sign a right-back in the coming transfer windows.
Juranovic’s contract with the Hoops runs until 2026 and while the Croat might not be at the top of Ten Hag’s wish list, Neville would likely endorse his arrival at United given his impressive performances in Qatar.
