Manchester United fans should expect a busy last 48 hours of the transfer window with their being the potential of three new signings through the door at Old Trafford.

According to Fabrizio Romano, via his live stream on Kick.com, United, alongside Liverpool and Barcelona, are set to have the busiest end to the transfer window this summer.

Speaking on Kick.com’s live stream Romano said: “I would say Liverpool, Manchester United and Barcelona. These three, the top three of the final days of the summer transfer window, watch out for them.”

United have already spent around £160 million on three players this summer but there is the potential that this figure could rise even further if the three potential deals get completed in time.

Altay Bayindir, the Turkish goalkeeper from Fenerbahce, seems the most likely signing out of three with the official announcement of his move set to be made in the next few hours.

Outgoings crucial for United

It’s been repeated so much to the point where it’s becoming monotonous but United have needed and still do need sales to be completed this summer.

Anthony Elanga joined Nottingham Forest for £15 million and it seems Dean Henderson’s move to Crystal Palace will be completed today for around £20 million, but more is needed.

Donny van de Beek seems the most likely sale that will follow the Englishman with Lorient interested but also Galatasaray have enquired about the Dutchman according to The Athletic.

Optimism over three incomings

After Bayindir completes his move to the club, Marc Cucurella may well be the next target for United and that deal is ‘close’, too, according to Marca in Spain.

Sofyan Amrabat is the one that United fans are seemingly hoping for the most.

The deal for the midfielder, who was superb during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is certainly not an easy one for United to complete.

Due to United’s difficult FFP (Financial fair play) situation, a loan deal is being explored for the 27-year-old and even pulling off a deal like that will not be easy in the final days of the transfer window.
