Manchester United are looking for striking additions this summer and could explore the Belgian market for a new signing.
Matheus Cunha has joined Manchester United from Wolverhampton Wanderers and will slot right in as a number 10 under Ruben Amorim.
The recruitment is far from complete in the final third, though, as United are also chasing Bryan Mbeumo and hope to finalise a deal for the Brentford attacker.
A centre forward is likely to become United’s priority once Mbeumo is secured, with a host of names linked.
Arsenal have joined United in chasing Hugo Ekitike, with the Eintracht Frankfurt forward attracting major interest.
The drama over Viktor Gyokeres continues, with United keeping tabs on the Swedish striker as he bids to leave Sporting.

Genk identify Tolu Arokodare replacement
United may have to pay huge money for the likes of Ekitike and Gyokeres, which may not fit into the budget this summer.
Ineos will hope to sell the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony in order to raise funds, but may also need to consider some cheaper strikers.
Genk forward Tolu Arokodare fits the bill, though a cheaper price tag often means being more unproven, and that is the case with Arokodare.
United have looked at Arokodare as a potential signing as the Nigerian striker continues to go from strength to strength.
Arokodare joined Genk from Latvian side Valmiera in 2023 and has been a goal machine ever since, including 23 goals in 43 games last season.
An enormous presence at 6ft 6in tall, Arokodare is still only 24 and appears to have a bright future ahead of him.
United could test the waters with a move this summer, and may be encouraged after hearing that Genk have already found a potential replacement.
Het Laatste Nieuws reporter Bob Faesen reports that Genk are looking to sign Vasteras forward Aaron Bibout as a replacement for Arokodare.
The Belgian side clearly fear losing their hitman and are now looking at Bibout, another huge striker, as his replacement.
This certainly presents a window of opportunity for United to pounce with a deal for Arokodare, who would jump at the chance to move to Old Trafford.
Tolu Arokodare wants Manchester United move
Arokodare wouldn’t be a big-name addition, but could be a smart find for United.
The striker is an ascending talent, and his pure physicality would offer something different in United’s attack.
Arokodare has even admitted interest in joining United, admitting that a move to Old Trafford would be a ‘dream’ for him.
“Obviously, it’s a dream to play in the Premier League, but I have my eyes on it for sure. Whatever options I have, I’ll take my time and make the best decision,” said Arokodare.
“I’m a Manchester United fan, and if it happens, it would mean a lot to me and my family. Of course, it would be a dream come true,” he added.
If United come calling, Arokodare would almost certainly make the move – but Amorim may want to focus on bigger names such as Ekitike and Gyokeres for now.
