Colombian wing-back Daniel Munoz has made a huge impression on the Premier League since joining Crystal Palace in 2024, but the 29-year-old has chosen not to shy away from his dream in a recent interview, which will inevitably lead to Manchester United speculation.
Ruben Amorim is still in the process of building his Manchester United squad. It may take a couple of years to complete, but Sir Jim Ratcliffe has shown patience with the head coach to turn things around at Old Trafford.
Ineos are also backing Amorim in the transfer market. United made five signings in the summer, and they are expected to add to their midfield department in 2026, after a failed Carlos Baleba approach earlier this year.
United are also thought to be in the market for a right wing-back after being linked with Sporting CP prospect Salvador Blopa. The 18-year-old has only made one appearance for the senior team, scoring a brace, but his experience is limited at the top level.
Now, another right wing-back has emerged as a potential target – but not because he is being scouted by United. It has more to do with the fact that he dreams of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Daniel Munoz opens up on Man Utd dream
Daniel Munoz has stood out at Palace for his lung-bursting displays down the right flank.
Before signing for the Eagles, Munoz contributed 19 goals and 20 assists in 148 games for Genk. He has scored eight goals and registered four assists in 81 games for Palace.
Munoz is also a regular in the Colombian team, but he is still aiming for a move to one of the world’s biggest clubs.
Would Karim Adeyemi be a good signing for Manchester United?
In a new interview, the Palace star confirms he is working towards achieving his dream of playing for the likes of United, Barcelona, PSG or Real Madrid.
“First of all, I think there’s a lot of talk about one club or another,” Munoz told AS.
“If you ask me, it would be a dream to play for one of these clubs, whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United. I think I’m working towards that; I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because it’s a dream for me to get there.
“Right now, I’m focused on my club, on doing things well at Crystal Palace. If you ask me, I don’t have any concrete information that any of these clubs are interested in me. My focus is on Crystal Palace. We’ll see when the winter transfer window gets closer. Right now, I’m fully focused on these two matches with the national team.”
When do Man Utd play against Crystal Palace?
United will take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park at the end of the month on November 30.

Munoz will be hoping to build on an impressive tally of three assists in as many games against United when the Eagles travel to Old Trafford.
The Colombian has yet to lose a game against United, but Amorim’s side is currently three places higher than Palace in the Premier League table.
