Barcelona are reportedly very attentive to the situation of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho and have been alerted about his availability.

Erik ten Hag and Jadon Sancho have seemingly had a rather big fallout following the winger’s omission from the Manchester United squad for the defeat against Arsenal.

Well, the former Borussia Dortmund man is seemingly unwilling to apologise and now the situation is becoming volatile with a move away from Old Trafford surely on the cards.

It has emerged that Spanish giants Barcelona are incredibly keen on the 23-year-old and could make a move for him but there is a catch as there always seemingly is when it involves Xavi Hernandez’s side.

Barcelona’s interest

According to a report from Spanish outlet SPORT, Barcelona are very keen on the wide man and have been alerted to his availability but the Spanish side would not be able to sign him until next summer.

It seems likely that Sancho could well be moving in January just to get rid of the problem situation but the La Liga champions would ideally like to wait until next year.

The report states this is due to the money troubles that Barcelona have had which has caused them problems in the past and looked to be the reason why a move for Frenkie De Jong seemed possible back in the summer of 2022.

United’s plan

According to the same report, United would like to send Sancho out on loan and the hope would be that this would increase his value before selling him next summer.

The Spanish side would ideally like to sign the former Manchester City academy graduate as a replacement for Ansu Fati if, as expected, the Spaniard leaves the club.

For United, the plan is seemingly to move on Sancho at all costs and in Barcelona they have an interested party who could be willing to sign the 23-year-old.
