There has been speculation that Manchester United may let Antony go on loan in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian winger only arrived at Old Trafford in 2022, when Erik ten Hag splashed out a whopping £85m on the Ajax man.
A decision now which looks a little ludicrous. The 24-year-old has not hit the ground running in red, which has led to ESPN reporting that Antony may be loaned out by United this summer.
Amid a sea of speculation, Antony’s agent, Junior Pedroso, has now responded to these claims.

Antony’s agent replies to loan exit rumours
Via ever-reliable transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Antony’s agent has confirmed that the rumours of him going out on loan are not strictly true, and the forward’s sole focus is on Manchester United.
Pedroso said: “I see reports about potential exit on loan. Antony’s plan is clear: Manchester United. He wants to stay, he’s only focused on Man United. We already spoke about that with the club.”
That settles that then, it appears Antony is willing to stay and fight for his place in the starting XI under Ten Hag.
Can Antony turn his Manchester United career around?
It’s a real make-or-break season for Antony. After a miserable 23/24 campaign, if he cant turn it around over the duration of the next year – it could definitely be curtains for him in Manchester.
The undeniable quality is there, but Antony has been one of the most frustrating United players to watch in recent times.
A loan move may have been a good move to prove himself elsewhere, but it appears he has his mind made up.
Antony will now join up with the Red Devils in the USA for the pre-season tour 2024 after missing both the Rosenborg and Rangers clash. The first chance to prove himself in what is a vital campaign ahead.
